02.19.2011 Everyday is like facing the unknown all over again. We're assaulted by millions of different variables, it's completely incalcuable. When I woke up, this isn't the song I had in mind to write. This is what ended up alive and breathing. Love.
Additionally: I find it interesting that, as the days go on, I find myself writing less ambient and more focused material. This is probably one of the weirdest ways to document growth, but so be it. An interesting fact, or I think it is anyway, is that there is zero guitar in this song. It's all keys, effects, and VSTs. Kinda nice after the last two tracks having a healthy amount of 6-strings.
Simply put, Eddie's guitar work is stunning and mesmerizing. This is, by far, the most brutal, melodic, and intense death metal record I've heard since The Wretched Spawn. Only Time
Chris Margolin is a buddy of mine, and his song writing sometimes eerily reminds me of Seven Mary Three. Fallen Leaf is a great album, and has received local radio play as well. Only Time
By far the most honest rock record I've heard in years. Combines early and late 7M3 with a myriad of other influences. Matt Kebbe's lead work is what keeps me interested, next to Chris's writing. Only Time

The aptly-named Hauntings write songs that are sinister and moody—the seconds in a horror film right before the jump scare. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 3, 2023
